Letter from the President

Writing "Letters from the President" is always a pleasant occupation since it means the opening of a new exhibit. For a Museum person to hear the words "new exhibit " is like music to the ears.

After looking through the fine selection of artworks I am sure you will agree with me that this new exhibit of children's art comes from a top notch bunch of young artists. And as you look further, you may also notice many potent pieces that more than hold their own.

When you can turn around and see, right there before your eyes, the positive effect that is possible when working with these young people, how can anyone resist helping?

My congratulations to the artists and those that had the opportunity to help—at a time when such small efforts yield such great returns.

Claude Needham, Phd.
